This is a truly unique and innovative collaboration between
Vortex Events and the race series organisers Zapcat Racing.
The Zapcat National Championship is the
UK’s largest one design powerboat series. Each summer up 80 +
competitors battle it out during seven weekends of Grand Prix
racing at high population venues, all for the glory of winning
the coveted Grand Prix, King of the Surf and National
Championship trophies.
Since its inception in 2001, the Zapcat
National Championship has been thrilling spectators in their
thousands the length and breadth of the country with its
visually spectacular style of racing. Unlike traditional
powerboat racing all of the action at a Zapcat Grand Prix
takes place within the full view and reach of spectators.
Couple this with the speed and agility that forces Zapcats to
fly through the air and it is easy to understand the
phenomenal rise of this visually enthralling sport.
As a result Zapcat Racing’s appeal is
diverse and far-reaching.
Experiencing a Zapcat at a Championship
Grand Prix event is something that will leave a positive
lasting impression on your guests, strengthening your

Guests will have the chance to meet the
race teams and prior to racing also experience the course or
the water condition themselves with an instructor.
